| Abstract: | The economic relationship between Guangzhou and Hong Kong is both cooperative and competitive one. So their economic cooperation has duality. They need to handle well both internal and external relationships. As the economic cooperation between the two areas will develop by echelon on the basis of lower-level labor intensive cooperation for a long period of time, the relationship between low level and high level should be handled correctly. Besides, the following relationships should be handled well too: the relationships between the whole and the local, between the micro and the macro, between socialist system and capitalist system, between being changeable and unchangeable, between being quick and slow, between departments and between Guangzhou-Hong Kong economic cooperation and Guangzhou foreign countries economic cooperation. |
