| Abstract: | Have we been losing the art of effective face-to-face communication since the advent of e-mail? The author describes the development of a "communication gym" that aims to diagnose and treat dialogue deficiencies. Academics such as Chris Argyris and Peter Senge have been reminding us for years of the importance of creating dialogue within organizations. This stimulates learning, builds understanding and, perhaps most important of all, strengthens relationships. |
