| Abstract: | This study focuses on the role trade union plays in training and education in the National Health Sector (NHS). Seven cases from NHS organizations in England are studied. The UK's largest trade union - UNISON, has a significant role in negotiating employer learning partnerships in order to support lifelong learning. The study discusses the challenges and risks of the system. |
