Abstract:Any new company must be driven by a vision within that stimulates the company from the top to the bottom. To be successful, this vision must be closely related to the needs of the market and the purchasing decision. Strategic planning by vision requires accurate trend analysis, conversion of that analysis into action and a willingness to commit financial resources to the idea. It also creates price advantage or value differentiation that yields competitive advantage. The concept of strategic vision has been used to develop a successful business using information technology and a scattered work force working from their own homes or from a neighbourhood work centre.
