| Abstract: | The social security system in Guangdong is faced with the following challenges. It should be adapt to fair competition, to market failure effect, to the industrialization and urbanization of Guangdong and to the problem of social security for the working population coming from outside Guangdong. Basic measure are as follows. The pace of unified legislation of social security in Guangdong is to be quickened. The social security functions of governments at all levels should be strengthened. The consciousness of social security and sense of responsibility of all citizens should be enhanced. |
