| Abstract: | The article is the second in a series on the taxation of expatriates in East and Central Europe. The first article has been published in European Taxation 6 (1996) and dealt with the Czech Republic. Coverage for Hungary is to come. This article deals with Russia. Since the break-up of the Soviet-Union, the regulatory environment in Russia has been in a state of flux. Accordingly, it is very important to obtain the most up-to-date information before making any significant decisions. The article deals with the laws as of 29 May, 1996. |
