| Abstract: | The exchange risk can be defined as the risk of the variation of rate of exchange affecting the value of the credits and debts of the enterprise. Considering the nature of operations, three types of exchange risk can be distinguished: the commercial, the financial and the exchange risk connected with the operations of external growth of enterprise. The treasurer has the official role to reduce these risks by securing the company profit. To reach this objective there are several available tools, as assurance contracts, methods of internal terminal and options transactions. These tools are shown and the principles and modalities of the exchange policy and the exchange rate management are examined. |
