Abstract: | More and more acquisitions, joint ventures, alliances and cooperations have developed for the last ten years modifying the competition environment. The main objective of the strategic alliances is to establish, maintain and increase the competitive advantages of the participant enterprises. The options in relation to their international development are presented. These internationalization strategies are different by the competitive context and by the chosen form of internationalization. The case of automobile and electronic industry serves as an example. The main opportunities for the international alliances and elements of success are identified. |
