| Abstract: | The State Planning Commission announced priorities of development and structural adjustment of industries in the next seven years: to further agricultural and water conservation construction and maintain a steady growth of agriculture; to accelerate the construction of basic industry and infrastructure; to cultivate and develop pillar industries, chiefly engineering industry, electronic industry, petrochemical industry, motor industry and building industry; to reorganize and transform light and textile industry; to speed up the development of the tertiary industry, and gradually establish and improve systems of markets, social service and social security. |
