Abstract:China can neither count on the second round "major resource discovery" worldwide, which will attach important to it nor depend on trade adjustment to satisfy the demand in the course of its industrialization. The only way out is to tap new sources of supply and reduce consumption, and to centre on the adjustment of structure. It is a foregone conclusion that auto, communication, building and electronics industries will grow at a far extraordinary speed under the demand pull. These industries will become the important pillar industries for supporting the national economic growth.
