| Abstract: | According to the overall development situation of the national economy, the orientation of the state's macro economic policy and the state of machine-building industry itself, this paper makes the following forecast: The overall pattern of the economic operation of machine- building industry is to keep a steady growth. There are more difficulties in raising economic returns. The task of eliminating losses and increasing profits is very arduous. The whole economic situation is more severe. According to a preliminary estimation, the total output value of machine-building industry will grow by 10% or so in 1997. |
