| Abstract: | Because of the diversity in regional economy, southeast Fujian should be different from northwest Fujian in choosing its strategy of industrialization. To this end, the economic structures of both regions must be adjusted correspondingly. Southeast Fujian should implement partially the strategy of import substitutes while pursuing the strategy of secondary export guidance. Northwest Fujian, however, should implement partially the strategy of secondary export guidance while pursuing the strategy of import substitutes. To bring into play the overall superiority, the whole province must take the overall strategy of taking the secondary export guidance as the main strategy and the import substitutes as the subsidiary one. |
