| Abstract: | The theme of this journal is how the five Nordic countries handled economic regime transformation in the 1950s, a period when trade liberalization and multilateralism pushed aside the protectionism and bilateralism that had taken root in the 1930s. The approach does not have its conceptual basis in trade theory but in the theory of political economy and economic politics. |
