| Abstract: | Although many companies are just beginning to grapple with work force diversity, USA West already demonstrates significant progress: women are selected for management jobs 52 percent of the time, peaple of color constitute 13 percent of managers and a development program is accelerating both changes. Furthermore, the company is learning to respond better to customers who are just as diverse as employees. |
