| Abstract: | The township enterprises in Fujian province are now facing challenges coming from the advanced provinces, the state-owned enterprises which have transformed their mechanism, the flourishing enterprises of "the three kinds of ventures" and private enterprises and reentry to GATT as well. The strategical thoughts on their development are: perfecting and strengthening marketing; adopting cooperative share holding system; following the road of enterprise-grouping; making great efforts to develop high-tech industry and products; accelerating export-oriented economic development promoting with great efforts sci-tech progress and scientific management; and developing export-oriented township enterprises. |
