| Abstract: | The article addresses the needs of three national reserves in north central Kenya for developing a tourism strategy that aims at enhancing tourist opportunities at the reserves. The study identifies three visitor segments; escapists, learners and spiritualists. This helps the reserve managers to understand the motivation for different types of visitors. |
