Abstract: | In order to defend the thesis of a corporate agent being morally responsible (here as: resp.) for a decision without any of its individual members with such resp., there are paradoxical results found concerning judgment aggregation (here as: jdg-aggr). This article contends that the arguments offered for this irreducibility thesis are inconclusive without paying enough attention to how individual moral resp. is evaluated. Proposed is a method for distributing corporate resp. to individual members within the jdg-aggr. framework. |
