| Abstract: | Addicted supervisors who abuse alcohol or drugs, or who are extreme Type A managers, are unlikely to see or to want to discover addiction problems in their subordinates. Fear of exposing his or her problem is a powerful motivator for an addicted supervisor or manager to look the other way when subordinates also are addicted. |
