Abstract: | Allowing the existence of certain opportunist behaviours reflects the fact that to some extent, enterprises and managers are co-owners of enterprise property. This embodies enterprises' trust in managers and displays the generous side of enterprises. Correspondingly, mutual trust means that managers will consciously confine their behaviours within permitted scope and won't take up imperceptible opportunist behaviours. At a relatively low degree of motivation, managers' nonproductive endeavour is relatively great. In order to avoid more serious mishaps, government will tolerate more on-the-job consumption behaviours. |
