| Abstract: | In its role as a function supporting the top management of banks, control has long been regarded in the literature on the subject, and increasingly in bank practice, as an instrument capable of placing the most important objectives at the centre of overall corporate policy, given efficient information management. At the same time, it facilitates sound planning based on reliable information which is consistent with the strategic goals that have been established by the bank. It is considered to what extent structural control concept can be adapted according to the size of the bank. |
