Abstract:The ISO-9000 series is a group of standards that addresses the key management elements that must be implemented in order to have an effective quality program and ultimately remain competitive. This article discusses the impact the ISO-9000 quality system standards has on marketing professionals. This impact can be felt by marketers in such areas as developing a marketing plan, establishing pricing, and designing an advertising platform.
