| Abstract: | This study deals with two hospitals, Helsingborg Hospital (3,500 employees) and Ängelholm Hospital (1,200 employees), becoming limited companies (here as: ltds). Based on a longitudinal study from 2001 to 2003, it is claimed that as a result of the ownership form change, the hospitals have experienced increased production and a strong organizational identity. It can be concluded that the two hospitals' personnel have different experiences of the years as a ltds. due to different culture, leadership and history. The acceptance of the idea of being ltds. diverged, in spite of operating in the same field etc. (original in Swedish) |
