| Abstract: | This paper offers an in depth analysis of enterprising forms of organization. The authors concentrate on the ways in which top managers mediate the idea of enterprise. They try to demonstrate that enterprises need not necessarily be enterprising. The paper highlights the need for more empirically-based understanding of the ways in which enterprise is interpreted. According to the authors the academic critique and analysis of enterprise within organizations neglect many important research topics. |
