| Abstract: | This general review concentrates on travel and tourism behavior of seniors (people aged 55+) paying particular attention to the Austrian market. The paper examines the role of leisure and traveling in the participants' lives and their attitudes towards free time and tourism in the growing senior market. The results show that the ageing population prefers long trips opposed to short trips and they are traveling usually at off-peak seasons. |
