| Abstract: | This research paper tests a number of hypothesis related to the differences between senior and non-senior travelers in the particular context of holiday rentals. Data from a survey sent to existing and potential customers of a leading rental company in Switzerland were used to examine the hypothesis. The paper documents significant differences between the preferences of these two target groups. The willingness to spend less money on holiday rentals and the appreciation of convenience and safety were factors that are related to age and generation differences. |
