Abstract:This paper provides an in-depth discussion on the theories and themes in entrepreneurship research. Latest studies have focused on innovation aspect and overlooked the wealth redistribution matters of entrepreneurship. New firms play a vital role in creating new economic opportunities, providing the new technology that keeps the economy going and maintaining an equitable distribution of wealth. The authors show how new micro- and nano-technologies have influenced high-tech start-ups in the electronics industry, computer industry and pharmaceutical industry.
