| Abstract: | China's GATT status is helpful to expand the range of export of China's agricultural products, to increase varieties of exported commodities, to enlarge geographic distribution for export trade and to promote the rationalization of the prices of agricultural products. But rejoining GATT will intensify competition on the domestic market for agricultural products, increase trade frictions and increase the weight of the country's finance. The paper puts forward some suggestions for developing and protecting China's trade of agricultural products. |
