| Abstract: | Rejoining GATT means that China must obey the laws of market economy to operate foreign trade; direct administration will be replaced by indirect management with economic and legal methods. Meanwhile the various regulations of GATT must be obeyed and Foreign Trade Law and Anti-dumping Law should be made as soon as possible in China. The enterprises in foreign trade as well as in medium-large-sized industries should transit their operation mechanism and form share-ownership groups and multinational companies to meet the challenges of GATT. |
