| Abstract: | GATT is based on the market economy and free competition. Since the reform with marketing as the mainstay in 1978, the market economic system is replacing the traditional planned economy. But the role of the market mechanism is very unbalanced especially when state-owned large and medium-sized enterprises--the mainstay of the national economy--are not completely marketized. The author discusses concrete strategies from the angle of GATT rules. |
