Abstract: | During this decade, U.S. authorities have resorted to certain types of anti-circumvention measures for the purpose of preventing alleged evasions of U.S. antidumping orders. This policy is based on the perception that the issuance of an antidumping order gives foreign producers or exporters an economic incentive to circumvent the order through the following means: circumvention through U.S. assembly; third-country circumvention; exportation of later-developed or slighltly altered products. |
