Abstract:WOrld trade expands modestly - as before. Its volume was altogether 5 to 6 p.c., higher than one year before. Factors that mainly influenced worldtrade were the very moderate expansion of demand in Europe and the stagnation of the imports in Japan. In the same time, imports in a lot of developing countries increased strongly and persistently as well as in the USA. The development of the price relations favoured again the industrialized countries. Slight revitalization is expected for 1993. The prices of industrial raw materials remained very low in the world market.
