| Abstract: | Tony Bennett summarises his CIMA-funded research project into an area about which there appears to be very little published material. His study looks at examples of commercial, Arts Council-funded and local authority-funded theatres, in all of which financial management is viewed as invaluable. Income and expenditure in the theatre world is subject to the whims of fashion and taste; indeed, income is more so that the mentioned expenditure. |
