| Abstract: | Business process reengineering (BPR) exists because most business processes were never really engineered, they just evolved over many years. The processes evolve to cope with the needs of the departments rather than the needs of the customer. Improving business effectiveness and cutting operating costs are some of the aims of business process reengineering. The author looks at how to put it into practice. |
