| Abstract: | Private banking, like other areas of financial services, is undergoing an upheaval. But although some institutions are being squeezed, the opportunities for those which continue to serve the wealthy are colossal and increasingly attractive. While Georges Vergnion, chairman of The Chase Manhattan Private Bank (Switzerland), says: "The traditional private bank is something of the past", surveys show that the overall market for private banking services is huge and growing rapidly. |
