| Abstract: | As the competition policy of the single market gathers force, Siemens's trend towards globalization is becoming a vital part of its policy. It means a painful readjustment for a company with a strong homogeneous culture. Siemens equipment is on trial with five regional telecoms operators in America, and it is the only European manufacturer being tested in Japan. It is still an open question as to how Siemens will be able to cope in the new environment. |
