| Abstract: | Electronic industry in coastal area will loss protective shelter of high tariffs and quantitive restraints on importing goods from foreign countries and facing a fierce competition on international market when China resume of her status as a contracting party to the GATT. It will be much harder for those enterprises to make profit without the favorable policies. Hence, countermeasures listed below is needed: absorbing more investment from foreign finance group; adjusting the production structure while focus on the development of new technology and new products which has strong demand in domestic, such as moved communication equipments and programmed controlled switch board exchange. |
