| Abstract: | Since Shanghai's machinery and electronics industries had the self-autonomy in export and import for the first time in 1988, the enterprises enjoying the self-autonomy in export have made considerable progress in terms of the scale and speed of exports by Sept.1994, there were 21 enterprises (groups) which had the self-autonomy in export, involving 71 factories (enterprises). They earned Us $ 0.24 billion and Us $ 216,350,000 in foreign exchange through exports in 1993 and Jan. to Sept.1994 respectively,which maintained a strong upward momentum. |
