| Abstract: | In 1997 China's annual output of analog colour TV sets was 24 million and the social possession of TV sets reached 0.3 billion. So in terms of scale, China can be called a major colour TV country. In the age of being shifted from analog colour TV sets to digital ones, we should formulate measures suiting China's national conditions. Now the digitized colour TV sets are being put out in succession on market. But they can not be called digital colour TV sets for the TV station's TV signal is still analog one. As an investment of 4-5 million US dollar is needed for replacing the analog-equipment of the TV station, anolog TV sets and digitized TV sets will co-exist for a quite long period of time in the future. |
