| Abstract: | This paper presents a method of users' needs assessment to estimate future need by the investigation of an existing need through a questionnaire, and presents the results of its application to a color television set case study. The proposed method is designed on the basis of the stimulus-response model, product characteristics and factor analysis. The results allow one to identify some effective factors of users' needs and important dynamic changes that indicate the trend of the users' needs. |
