| Abstract: | In 1961, the Regular Commissions Board became the main mechanism for the selection of British Army officers. Despite the new requirements of a modern army, the selection of officers has hardly changed for 40 years. The current selection, training procedures are examined to assess overall validity. Changes are also promoted. |
