Abstract: | Assessment Centres are institutions professional in selecting personnel for the most diverse jobs. They create situations similar to those on-the-job and use groups of experts (from different areas) to evaluate the performance of the applicant. The article compares assessment centres with traditional methods of personnel selection (such as interviews and tests) as to their reliability, validity, acceptance and cost. |
