| Abstract: | Foreign exchange resource is left unused while in short supply. This is the problem with China's foreign exchange operation mechanism. The main reasons are: (1) local interests break up the market which make foreign exchange unable to flow according to its own law; (2) channels for horizontal flow of foreign exchange are imperfect; (3) the exchange rate of RMB mechanism is imperfect; (4) shortage of foreign exchange leads to the mentality of unwilling to sell foreign exchange. The author of the paper puts forwards some suggestions in this regard. |
