Abstract: | All Slovene companies are currently in the phase of ownership transformation. The purpose of this process is the transfer of ownership - from unknown, abstract entity (society as a whole) -to an identifiable owner (i.e. an incorporated body controlled by shareholders). The company transformation is governed by the Law on transformation of ownership of companies (ie Privatisation Law) and by new Company Law.Privatisation Law is significant because it defines the methodes of the ownership transformation and allows the Companies to choose the way how to transform the ownership.Simultaneonsly with the ownership transformation the legal form of Companys shall be changed to the Companies limited by shares; this change is ruled by the new Company law, being in accordance with the known European legislation. |
