Abstract:Enterprises' ownership distribution may be expressed as the choosing of different kinds of contracts. Cost of transaction is what is mainly considered. It includes contract expenses and supervision expenses. The balanced contract arrangement which is the result of weighing the the two kinds of transaction expenses aims at saving the transaction expenses to the maximum. As far as simple transactions are concerned, the unilateral governance contract is relatively effective while common governance contract is possibly more effective for the complex transactions. Considered from the output effect of contract, the latter contract can produce higher transaction efficiency.
