Abstract:According to the article, employee owned companies have become more in common in UK, Europe, USA and Japan. These management in companies is based on employee participation and control, and research has proved them to be able to compete well with traditional companies. There are, however, two key problems for these companies: degeneration and the abuse of power. The article discusses the characteristics of employee owned companies and their key problems, and provides seven recommendations for sustaining these companies. The recommendations are based on organizational theory and the writings of the experts in the field of employee owned companies.
