HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT
Language:eng
Abstract:By doing good, an inner-city hospital in Washington, D.C. is also doing well. Unlike so many inner-city hospitals that are faltering because of the tremendous needs of the communities surrounding them, Greater Southeast Community Hospital is thriving. Strengthened by the leadership of a 47-year-old executive named Tom Chapman, Greater Southeast now offers a wide range of social services that at first glance have little in common with traditional health care. In this interview, Tom Chapman explains how his hospital works, and what makes his hospital unique at Greater Southeast.
