| Abstract: | The systems development game is changing. Companies are adopting advanced tools, such as design repositories and code generators and are applying them with innovative techniques. Companies are also adjusting to the impact of client/server architectures on the structure of their organizations as well as on the development tools and techniques they use. Infrastructure adjustments must be made to accommodate the new order. Development Centers represent one of the organizational adjustments required by companies to manage the transition. |
