Abstract: | Every CEO knows how to create cross-functional teams, reduce defects, and redesign business processes. Managers looking for a more fundamental shift in their organizations' capabilities do not need to improve themselves, they need to reinvent themselves. Reinvention is not changing what is, but creating what is not. A company on the journey of reinvention must uncover and alter the assumptions on which its decisions and actions are based. When managers reinvent themselves , they create a new context that leads to a seemingly impossible future. |
