Abstract:The rate of market change has accelerated dramatically over the past decade. Products that we once only dreamed of have become commonplace, other products are now obsolete. As rapid change has become the rule, the requirements for competitive advantage have shifted. This article describes and analyzes the key characteristics of high velocity markets and offers some suggestions for how a business might effectively position itself in this environment.
