Abstract:Classic theory says that there are three major steps in a change management program: unfreezing, changing, and refreezing. The early gurus of change management who developed the theory had their goal changing the way specific processes were done. These experts said that the first step in managing a change is unfreezing the organization's existing culture, making people understand that the current way of doing things is over, that there is a new way.
